In a previous blog post I wrote about what to do if you forget the lyrics to a song. I wrote about not letting it affect your performance and to continue with it. I was recently watching James Corden's carpool karaoke with The Foo Fighters. He asked Dave Grohl, about when he broke his leg when he was playing a concert with the band. He had to get medical attention during the concert and ideally he would have gone straight to the hospital. Ever the professional and dedicated to giving his fans a great show he continued. Watch the video below for more on the story it also has examples of other artists falling and carrying on.
Dave Grohl Breaking his leg performing live
What I love about this is the fact that there is such dedication to the audience and fan base that not letting them down no matter what was the main priority. So if things do go wrong on stage I feel it's always important to remember that it's not about you it's about continuing with the show and giving it your best for the audience.
